I know I have not blogged for awhile, ok like 6 months but I have been crazy busy and I think I turn my home computer on less then 30 minutes a month. That said I believe it is time for an update. ( can't have it showing on Jodi's site that it has not been updated in 6 months)
First let me say I love Jodi's blog I look forward to seeing it everyday and am greatly disappointed when she does not post. I hope she keeps with it.
Ok now for an update on our family. Raul is doing great with his work and does not get too mad when I call in the morning and ask for an order of 24 dozen donuts at 10am in a disguised voice. He for some reason always tries to make the request work and laughs when he realizes it is me.
Jordan is doing great teaching at a school in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. He is a great kid ( not really a kid anymore) He has been able to travel a lot down there when all the schools were closed he went to a few beach resorts. I am soo jealous. Hopefully he will be home soon.
Teijzia has been almost as busy as me. She dances , and dances, and dances, and comes home and dances some more. She reminds me a lot of what I think my grandma was like as a kid. Dancing through the store, living room, anything that has a floor. It is fun to watch her enjoy it so much. She has a production on Wednesday she is playing young Nala from Lion King. She is really excited. I am happy for her too. I think this will be a great production.
Emiliano we have found has allergies. He is the first in my family to have the problem so it is kind of sad. We have seen him with sad eyes for the last couple of days but I am sure it will clear up soon. He is an excellent student and I think his friend and him have academic competitions going on between them. But school is out now so he is having fun with anything he can. He enjoys scouts , soccer, and Karate. He is currently a blue belt and learning a lot of new forms etc.
Dontel is starting baseball. This is exciting as I will be his coach. I hope I can be as good of a coach as my mom was. She was awesome. He also does karate and is a blue belt. I think if he could he would go everyday. Although he is kind of a hermit and likes to stay home most of the time. He is really good at his karate and applications he tries really hard.
So that said it has been crazy between my 4 jobs and the kids activities I just want to relax when I am off. I am really happy for summer I hope we can have a great one and find lots of free things to do. The more we can do when they don't cost money. And we can save for Disneyland. I think it would be great to go there in the fall to help extend our summer.

Happy New Year
Well here it is we are in 2009 already. I can never get over how fast time will fly by. I still at times will catch myself writing 1995 on things. *Sigh .... Yeah I know a little outdated , I mean come on we are at the end of the first decade of the new milinium. 15 years ago we thought of this time as futuristic . And I guess maybe we are , most cars have some pretty sweet curves on them right. No but really electronics and computers have come a long ways. One thing I can think of is back in 1995 I swore I would never have a cell phone that my pager would be just fine. Wow you would never catch me sporting that thing now. I would find it rather annoying. I have no idea what I would do with out those things that make life easier.
So my New Years Wish:
NO more , I mean NO MORE snow in the valley. I wish it to pile up in the mountains to its hearts content. But I don't want to shovel again this year.
We shall see how long until my wish is destroyed. At least I can keep wishing its the last.

After Christmas
We have just had another very memorable Christmas unfortunately without Jordan. We can not wait for him to come home soon. His brothers and sisters miss him a great deal, as well as the rest of us. Raul will be heading down to see him in January. I can't believe he is going to be 22 in February. Hopefully 2009 will bring him home so our family can be complete again.
I am not sure who spoils our kids the most , their extended family or me and Raul? Either way I think our kids are the most spoiled kids on the planet. Thanks to all for helping with that , I really think Raul and I play a very little part in the spoiling.
It was fun having Yolanda and family here for Christmas but too bad Miriam could not make it. I hope we are at the end of the snow storms. I know wishful thinking but I do pray that it can keep to the mountains it looks so pretty there and people really appreciate it there too.

Ok I admit I am following a trend
So here I am looking at all the nice blogs people have, and how fun it is to see their pictures and how fast their kids are growing. So I thought maybe it is about time to go ahead and jump into the bandwagon. I have never been one to follow trends but just kinda do things at my own time. This time however the trend seems like the place to be and I will admit this time I am a trend follower. Writing is one of my least spent pastimes we shall see how this pails out.
